New Mom’s: Separation Anxiety

Many foods are iron rich foods. Eating these foods will increase the iron levels in your blood almost instantly. Consuming foods that are iron rich can be very beneficial for many people. However, for some people, iron rich foods can be detrimental. For example, if a person has Hemochromatosis, eating iron rich foods can cause more harm than good. In this article, we will review some of the iron rich foods that are out there. If you are trying to add iron to your diet, or you wish to avoid foods with excessive levels of iron for medical reasons, you should consult your doctor for an appropriate diet for your circumstances.
One thing to remember when dealing with hemochromatosis is that you can still enjoy iron rich vegetables because our bodies don’t extract much iron from vegetables. Liver is by far the highest meat in iron.
Raw shellfish can have an adverse affect on the bodies of sufferers of this disease. Seeing as how hemochromatosis is hard on the immune system, raw seafood should be avoided because of the chance of digesting bad bacteria.
If you have an issue with too much iron in your blood, you may experience the following symptoms:
* You may experience mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety if there is too much iron in the blood.
* You may encounter an irregular heartbeat if you have too much iron present in the body.
* Your sex drive may be affected if you have an abundance of iron.
* You may encounter joint pain that is associated with arthritis and other inflammatory diseases of the joints due to a high level of iron.
* You may start to have difficulties with certain organs, or may experience organ failure if the iron level in your body is too high.
* Women may start to experience hormonal issues, like going into early menopause if the iron levels in the body are excessive.
If you start to experience any of the above symptoms and you feel that iron may be possibly to blame, you should consult your doctor immediately. If excess iron is found in time, treatments can be successful.
It is important to note that infants who rely on formula and/or breast milk may require additional iron into their diet. You should not administer the extra iron to your child unless you have received consent or a prescription to do so by the primary pediatrician. Iron can be potentially hazardous for infants, so extreme caution should be used in these cases.

can i make a full recovery and successfully integrate into society?
hi im 29 and have endured mental health problems since i was 15. presentley i have a better handle on life i live on my own, and have been refered for psychotherapy and i have a social worker. unfortunatley as well as extreme low moods i have suffered with anger & anxiety for all this time to. unable to control my temper when outside plus having panic attacks that would stop me going places. and unfortunatley my anger has got me into trouble as well. years back, kicking someone which landed me in a mental health facility(hospital). i seriously regret all this and im trying to be determined in putting my life together. i find life very difficult, as alot of the time i get very lonely, i dont really have any friends and i dont have a partner. plus im trying to move at the moment because im living with antisocial behaviour by threatening youths. im just wondering is it possible to overcome all this & fully integrate into society?, because i have a strong desire to.can my anger be cured?
Congratulations for seeking help and living on your own. You have already taken several steps to alleviate your anger and depression. I think your first step is to find time and agree with your social worker when you are ready to go out and talk to others socially.
I really think that anger should not be cured in the sense one should not be angry at all…Anger is an emotion after all..but it must be controlled. Uncontrolled aggression can lead to violence, as you know. I do have some anger myself…usually dormant..but can arise sometimes..but I have been able to control it lately. I suggest you take an anger management class to help you cope..and perhaps join a support group that will help you relate to others with the same problems. Good luck.
